There are a few types of loans that you may be able to qualify for, so here they are! I always recommend consulting with your loan officer to ensure that you are on the right path.
FHA Loan. This is a loan for first time homebuyers with as little as 3.5% down and a minimum FICO score of 580.
Conventional Loan. This is a loan that typically requires 20% down and a minimum credit score of 620. Each lender has their own minimum credit score, but generally this is the lowest.
VA Loan. This loan is no money down and is for veterans or active members in the military that have served a certain amount of time. Depending on when you served and how much time you served this minimum time qualification will be different.
There are also many programs that you may qualify for that include down payment or closing cost assistance. I highly recommend speaking to a loan officer to determine what would be best for you!
